Abstract:
Based on the evaluation of the historical experience (2000-2006) of Local Agenda 21 in Spain, this article analyses the opportunities, limitations and obstacles of cultural policies oriented towards sustainability in our country. At the same time, it tries to highlight the close symbiosis between culture and development policies, and the possible mutual reinforcement between them.
