The Culture and Leisure Industries represent an increasing share of the Spanish GDP. In this way, considering the different factors of the competitivity, the productivity of these industries is analysed for the mid-nineties to a regional level. The results at which we arrived allow us to glimpse growth potentialities derived from technical progress and improvements in the scale economies. Another one of the facts this work confi rms is the sectorial supremacy of the Community of Madrid, followed closely by Catalonia, Aragon and Galicia.
