Enter: The Economics of Culture as a "byproduct" of cultural policy The Economics of Culture, as a subdiscipline of the Economy, actually develops from a strict discussion of cultural policy. Despite this observation, it is clear that from the point of view of positive analysis and from the perspective of the disciplinary approach of the economy, the conceptual framework explaining public intervention in culture stems from the schemes for rationalising public action processes.
