From April 2024 to March 2025, on the third Monday of each month, an online talk takes place between different cultural observatories, cultural information systems, or similar research centers in the Ibero-American space. With these meetings, we seek to: promote dialogue between cultural observatories in the Ibero-American space; disseminate Ibero-American practices of projects that contribute to putting culture at the center of public policies and the sustainable development of territories; strengthen collaboration and networking practices between different agents in the territory; identify lines of work to promote the integration of a specific objective for culture in the post-2030 sustainable development agenda; and stimulate reflection on culture as a global public good.
The Cultural Observatory of the UV is part of the organizing team of this activity in collaboration with the Observatory of Science, Communication and Culture Policies [PolObs] of the University of Minho, Portugal, and the Observatory of Cultural Public Policies of the University of Brasília, Brazil. Each session is moderated by one of these three Observatories.
