From the website through the available form: https://www.uv.es/creari/poeticas/
All people from the artistic education field willing to participate will have to present a paper which will allow them to obtain the corresponding certificate. The paper proposal will consist on the presentation of a visual poetics in a jpg file at 300ppp and size 210x297mm, which is to be added in the registration. From these images, a happening will take place during the first day, allowing the personal presentation of each attendee.
Socialising opportunities:
There are two activities planned to promote attendees socialisation in a friendly environment: a walk through the Turia and the “esmorzaret”. The idea is that they provide a helping hand in getting to know each other and share our interests.
- We’ll start at the entrance of the Gulliver Park The walk will be 1 hour long, which will let us enjoy the amazing green areas of the Turia river gardens. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes. It’ll be a fun way to start the day with energy, exploring the city in groups, like the Situationists’ or the Surrealists, but with sketchbooks, cameras or phones.
- The “esmorzaret” will be like a shared brunch for which each attendee will bring something, a meal they like, from their area o with which they identify themselves, to surprise the others (food and/or drinks).
Work methodology:
The organisation of work will be organised around three poetics: curriculum, publications and actions. Each attendee will choose in which one they want to participate. On each of these fields of work different topics will be separately addressed with the objective of creating a corpus of the area through listings, inventories and registers.
During the first day attendees will take part in one of the poetics line of work and the results will be registered in a shared web space. The day will finish with each poetics sharing their progress by making a cartography. Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials such as pictures, drawings, documents, etc. to make the cartographies linked with the chosen poetics.
On the second day, three representatives from each poetics will present the results of the cartographies in a panel discussion. To close the event, a debate about the future of the rests of the area will be held.
