Chair of Digital Gender Gap signed together by UVEG and Generalitat Valenciana, promotes a series of activities to reduce differences in access, training and job differences regarding the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) between men and women.

The programme design with gender perspectve workshop is offered to people with junior-type professional profile in all job, scientific and academic (doctoral and postdoctoral) areas. The 4 hour course will teach you how to incorporate gender perspective for the whole programme design and development cycle, from requirements definition and research to data gathering, analysis and evaluation.  Attendants will learn how to detect biases and meassure their impact in the response, as well as digital resources, process redesign, interfaces and models that improve equality.

The workshop will take place online, on Monday 6 October, from 9:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• First session will be in charge of Silvia Rueda Pascual, addressing how to introduce gender perspective in programme design related aspects.
• Second session will be in charge of anabel Forte Deltell, focusing on data analysis and biases identification.

Participants will learn how to detect biases and apply inclusive design principles while ecaluating models and systems with equality meassures and propose mitigation and improvement plans.

This workshop is free to enter with previous inscription on the event website with a maximum capacity of 25 students selected by inscription order. The organisation board will confirm the inscription.
