On 18 December 2025, the Director of the Doctoral School announced the procedure for granting the extraordinary awards for the 2025/2026 academic year.
This call is open to doctors who obtained their degree at the University of Valencia and achieved the highest grade in the defense of their thesis during the 2023/2024 academic year, between 1 October 2023 and 30 September 2024 (both inclusive), provided they did not participate in the call held in the 2024/2025 academic year.
The application period begins on 19 December 2025 and ends on 9 February 2026 (both inclusive).
Candidates whose theses were defended during the indicated period, in areas where the 25/26 call does not include any award due to not reaching the minimum required for granting (mathematics, natural sciences, dentistry, and engineering), may apply in the next call in which awards for those areas are announced.
