The “Culture and Citizenship 2025” conference is conceived as a space for meeting and reflection on the role of culture in public life and citizen participation. It brings together experts, cultural managers, policymakers, and the interested public with the aim of analyzing how cultural policies and practices can contribute to strengthening citizenship and democracy.

The program includes debates, round tables, and presentations addressing topics such as:

  • Culture as a factor of inclusion and social cohesion.

  • Citizen participation in cultural processes.

  • Cultural policies in a local and global perspective.

  • Models of cultural governance, innovation, and sustainability.

  • Case studies of good practices involving communities and territories.

The conference acts as a bridge between academic discourse, institutions, and citizenship, presenting culture not only as an aesthetic act, but as an agent of social transformation.
