The ETICORDIAL project of the Universitat de València participated in the 33th Congress of EBEN-España, held on 20, 21, and 22 May 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, under the theme “Organizaciones con propósito: ética y confianza en tiempos de incertidumbre” (‘Organisations with a purpose: ethics and trust in uncertainty times’).
The congress gathered researchers, professionals, and institutional representatives in a space for reflection on ethical challenges faced by organisations in the current context of social, economic, and technological transformation. During the different sessions and activities, issues related to institutional trust, sustainability, governance, responsible leadership, and organisational commitment to common good were tackled.
The participation of ETICORDIAL in this meeting enabled to share lines of work and research linked to applied ethics, as well as establishing synergies with other projects and specialists in the fields of business and organisational ethics.
The theme of this edition set the focus on the need for reinforcing organisations’ sense and coherence in uncertainty times, underlining the importance of the organisational purpose as a key for strengthening relationships between companies, institutions, and society.
