The Universitat de València announces 25 training grants to improve the employability of university students and graduates with disabilities.

The Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Services, through Uvjob and in collaboration with Banco Santander, launches the 3rd edition of the ‘Capacitas’ Programme.

TO WHOM IS IT AIMED AT?

University students and university graduates with a certificate of disability greater than or equal to 33%.

OBJECTIVE

To improve the employability of university students and university graduates through the acquisition of skills, tools and resources that will help them to find a job independently, in accordance with their academic training and work experience; in addition to promoting professional integration by encouraging quality employment, through job counselling, training and awareness-raising activities for companies.

ACTIONS CONSIDERED IN THE SCHOLARSHIP

Individual coaching: to participate in two job orientation sessions (initial and final), 1-hour-long each.

Group workshop ‘Personal skills for employability’: to participate in two group sessions of 5 hours each.

Training: to participate in two training sessions:

- Networking, career opportunities and effective communication, lasting 20 hours.

- 10-hour course on Basic Digital Competences to improve productivity and employability.

Business networking: speed networking session with companies and entities, with the aim that participants can present their candidature and give visibility to their talent through short interviews..

PROGRAMME FORMAT

The format of the training will be online, with the possibility of holding some activities in person.

Registration for the programme will be open until 24 February 2022 inclusive.
