Alejandro Escribá-Esteve

Full-time professor of Business Organization of the UV, certified as a university professor at ANECA from December 2015

 

He began his work as a university teacher in the field of business organization in 1993. He is specialised in the study of management teams and governing bodies, and their relationship with the business strategy. His teaching revolves around issues of strategic diagnostic techniques, competitive and corporate strategies, and corporate governance. His research is strongly related to the problems of family businesses, especially as regards the issues of management, governance, strategic decision making and business competitiveness.

He was the founder of the UV Master's Degree in Business Strategy, and director of the same between 2008 and 2012.

He has held positions of responsibility in the governing bodies of the main national scientific associations (ACEDE) and international (EURAM).

In the research field, he is the author of numerous works published in scientific journals and technical reports of an applied nature. He is the principal investigator of competitive research projects financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.

He was visiting professor in several foreign universities, such as Bocconi University (Milan); HEC Montreal (Montreal); Concordia University (Montreal); UCSC (Milan).

On the practical level, he has collaborated actively with companies of diverse nature, size and activity. Throughout his degree he had the opportunity to collaborate with companies as Deloitte: Consortia Consultores; Altair Consultores; GREFUSA; ETRA; Syntech Research Spain; AECTA; ADEIT; Broseta Abogados; AIDIMA; Cámara de Comercio de Valencia; ANDEMAR; o TECUM, among others.
