The Universitat de València presents the 8th edition of the Universitat de Tardor d’Ontinyent (UTO), result of the close collaboration between the Ontinyent’s local government, Caixa Ontinyent, the Campus Ontinyent Foundation and the InnovatiOnt Chair. The UTO constitutes another academic action of the Ontinyent Campus in the city and its region, La Vall d'Albaida. The Universitat de València, true to its commitment with the Valencian territory and society, promotes a new initiative linked to the training, research and the transfer of knowledge.

These conferences are a meeting point for professors, professionals, students and citizens of Ontinyent and its nearby environment throughout a whole week. Supplementary training to academic education and lifelong learning is offered with different workshops modules, all of them for free, by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Society: Unisocietat.

Besides, this year is the 20th anniversary of the creation of the University Foundation and the start of University Teaching in Ontinyent. Thus, this is a unique opportunity to reflect on all that was thought, all that was achieved and all that we would like Ontinyent was as a university town.
