II International conference: family, digital society, and positive development
Hybrid

Conference with psychology expert participation, who will examine topics related to family, digital society and positive development.

The II International Conference on Family, Digital Society, and Positive Development will be held on December 21 and 22 at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Valencia. This year the conference will be attended by professors who are experts in their field, from both Spanish and foreign universities, who will take part either in round tables with presentations, or in a guest conference.

Family, digital society and positive development will be the focus of the conferences and lectures. A variety of topics related to the immediate context, intervention programs aimed at different target populations, and methodological issues will be discussed. The proximal context will address the role of family and school in the internalization of values and psychosocial adjustment in children and adults. Parental socialization and its relationship with the psychosocial development of children has traditionally been studied during the years of socialization (e.g., in adolescent children), but also beyond adolescence, when the offspring are adults. The intervention programs to be discussed are related to alcohol prevention, positive parental socialization, environmental values, and improving family bonds. Methodological issues to be addressed will include replicability in science, psychological testing, clinical significance, and forensic techniques in the assessment of child sexual abuse victimization.
