The Master's Degree of Control and Management of Pest of the University of Valencia was created as a result of a lack of training in the field, as explained by its co-director, Jesus Selfa. "There are specific courses but not a global and transversal training that addresses all types of pests in different areas and their control."

The objective of the course is to train the latest advances in the control and management of pests caused by animals in agricultural, forestry and urban environments. The faculty includes both specialists from the world of the University and suppliers of administration and private companies.
