New field trip. Date: November 17th, at 9:00. The Universitat de València, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Participation and the Office of the Vice-Principal for International Relations and Cooperation continues with the Erasmus in the Territory programme. In this sixth edition, it has organised different formative routes in order to show some Valencian municipalities which are referents of its culture and heritage. These routes are addressed to the students of the Erasmus programme of the Universitat for the 2018-2019 academic year. Routes, planned in collaboration with the corresponding town councils, are intended to teach the Erasmus students about economic, cultural and landscape values of the Valencia region. Bocairent: Mountain village of La Vall d’Albaida, established on a hill, at the foot of the Natural Park of the Serra de Mariola, it keeps the Arabic essence of its streets outline. With around 4,500 inhabitants, Bocairent traditionally bases its economic activity in the textile industry and a part-time agriculture (cereals, olive trees, fruit trees and vineyards.) It is known for its Medieval Quarter over the river and for the “Covetes dels Moros” (“Caves of the Moors”), declared as a National Monument. Its bullring is also interesting because it is partially dug out of the rock or the Cava de Sant Blai, an also particular well for snow because of its location inside the municipality.
Date From 2 november 2018 to 17 november 2018. 24h. Every day.
