The Spanish Society of Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics (SEFF) returns to face-to-face sessions with ‘Farmacogenética como soporte a la decisión clínica’ (Spanish for Pharmacogenetics as clinical decision support), on May the 6th in Valencia.

The meeting can also be followed online and registration is available from 30 euros.

Application has been made for recognition of the activity with Credits of Continuous Training.

The Conference of the Spanish Society of Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics (SEFF) will be held again on May the 6th in the Assembly Hall of the University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe in Valencia. The meeting, which this year is entitled ‘Farmacogenética como soporte a la decisión clínica’ (Spanish for Pharmacogenetics as clinical decision support), and which can also be followed online, offers three round tables led by renowned professionals from the national healthcare sector.

Among these speakers are doctors Ángel Carracedo and Adrián Llerena, who will present the Pharmacogenetics Work Package within the IMPaCT-Genomic Medicine programme; and the director of the Carlos III Health Institute, doctor Cristóbal Belda, who will highlight the value of continuing this type of programme in order to continue advancing as a society. In addition, pharmacogenetics, which is a topic already being transferred to clinical practice in fields such as oncology, organ transplantation, infectious and cardiovascular pathologies and pain treatment, will be addressed.
