At this event, a complete guide on water will be presented, giving the audience a look at one of the most vital resources on our planet. From water quantity and distribution on Earth to its critical importance for ecosystems and human life, this guide address all the relevant aspects related to this invaluable resource.

We will explore how water sustains biodiversity and the balance of ecosystems, as well as its crucial role in agriculture, industry and daily life. Furthermore, we will discuss how humans use water, how much we consume and how we can work to recover and conserve this prized resource.

In addition to the presentation of the Guide, in which more than twenty UV researchers have participated in its creation, there will be a conference on the importance of water for human health and two panel discussions, one on water and human health and the other on water and environmental health. There will also be a tasting of different drinking water, including bottled water and tap water.
