90 years ago, in October 1934, the October Revolution of 1934 took place mainly in Asturias and Catalonia. During the first third of the 20^th century, there was a succession of popular mobilizations defending their rights and claiming improvements in their working life and in society. This events also occurred in the city of Valencia with a 7-days strike that was answered by the government by declaring a state of war. Despite this, it was not the most conflictive event that year in Valencia. Photographer Luis Vidal Corella captured the social tension of the moment with his camera. Workers demonstrated their discontent with work stoppages, protests and pickets.

The exhibition will be open to the public from October 18 to November 24 of 2024. From Tuesday to Friday, the exhibition will be open between 11:00am–7:00pm. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays it will be open between 11:00am–9:00pm.
