The deadlines to register and submit proposals to the 6th Congress of Feminist Economics have already closed, and with a great balance: 330 registrations and 123 proposals accepted to be presented during this sixth edition, from 5 to 7 September, in various formats to fit the three axes of the congress: communications, training workshops and initiatives for debate and political action.

Thematic areas and panels. The program of the 6th Congress is based on 6 thematic areas and 12 panels.

  1. CARE: the breadth of this content has been structured on the basis of three panels: the conceptualisation of care, the ethics of care and a third panel on community and alternative care.
  2. DISMANTLING NEOLIBERALISM
  3. ECOFEMINISM: The two panels differentiate between conceptualisations of ecofeminism and the rural world and feminist agroecology and food sovereignty.
  4. PUBLIC POLICIES: There are three panels in which this thematic area was developed; on the one hand, the conceptualization of welfare models and systems, the articulation of the public care and dependency system and a third generic panel on markets and commercialization.
  5. GENDER BUDGETING
  6. FEMINIST RESISTANCES AND STRATEGIES FOR CHANGE: There are two large panels, one on discrustation and conceptualisation of feminist resistance and the other on feminist experience and practice.

The distribution of the 123 accepted proposals among the 12 thematic panels is as follows (not available in English):

The provisional programme of the 6th Congress of Feminist Economics will follow the following sequence of times; we will soon publish the detailed programme with all the parallel sessions, but to warm up the engines, you can check the list of proposals of the programme, presented by thematic areas.
