Update and full programme of the 6th Congress of Feminist Economics

We have updated the programme of the 6th Congress of Feminist Economics available on this website, in different formats accessible for download in pdf with the distribution of the sessions, classrooms and timetables.

The content of the 6th State Congress of Feminist Economics is structured in 6 thematic areas that are developed in 13 panels.

Care | Dismantling Neoliberalism | Eco-feminism | Public Policies | Gender Responsive Budgeting | Feminist resistances and change strategies.

There are 2 plenary sessions, which will take place in the Principal's Hall of the Polytechnic University of Valencia to start and finish the congress (on the 5th and 7th in the morning) and also six blocks of sessions that will be held simultaneously in the different assigned classrooms of the 3G and 3H buildings of the UPV. The parallel sessions will start on September 5th at 15.30 and will end on September 6th at 20.00.

  • Maria Pazos-Moran. Mathematician, researcher and feminist activist. Author of 'Contra el Patriarcado'. Scientific Committee of the 6th Congress of Feminist Economics.
  • Isabel Álvarez. Agro-ecologist and researcher. Vice President and head of political incidence of the URGENCI network.
  • Ana Isabel Arenas. Economist. Member of the Mesa Intersectorial de Economía del Cuidado and Mesa de Economía Feminista (Colombia).

Location and spaces of the 6th State Congress on Feminist Economics

The 6th Congress is being held entirely on the UPV campus. Take note of the spaces we will be using and locate them on this map of the campus.

The opening and closing plenaries will take place in the auditorium of the  Principal's building (3A) (on the morning of Thursday 5 and Saturday 7)
The parallel sessions with thematic panels will be held at the ETS building of Agricultural Engineering (3G and 3H), during the afternoon of Thursday 5 and all sessions on Friday 6.
