Diciembre Europeo 2025 celebrated its 11th edition between 1 and 20 December under the motto 'Memory and Future of Europe. 40 years of Spain in the EU'. Universitat de València European documentation Centre organises the Manuel Marín conference in charge of politologist and the Spanish Federal Council of the European Movement president Francisco Aldecoa.

Titled 'Spain in the EU: accomplishments, limits and challenges ahead', Aldecoa reflects on the role of Spain in the Union at Universitat de València Faculty of Economics, Tuesday 16, at 12:30 p.m. Free entry.

Francisco Aldecoa is a professor with over 50 years of experience and full-time university professor of International Affairs for 35 years. He has contributed to the political contruction of Europe as a member of the organised civil society. Since the late 70s, he actively participated in the Spanish Federal Council of the European Movement (CFEME), an organisation he currently serves as president. Since 2020, he also is a MEI (International European Movement) board member and a member of UEF (Federalist Europeans Union) Federal Council.
