The Intercultural Relations Germany–Spain Research Group (RIALE) of the Universitat de València is pleased to announce the international scientific seminar ‘Crossing borders: German women travellers to Spain and Latin America’.
The seminar, scheduled for 30 November in the Boardroom of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Language Studies, Translation and Communication, is part of the project ‘Imagological construction of Spain in the German-speaking women’s odeporic: systematisation from a gender perspective’. The seminar will feature contributions from distinguished scholars from a range of Spanish, European and American universities.
This project (GVA CIAICO 2022/105 – UV‐INV_AE‐2635613) is funded by the Valencian Department of Education, Universities and Employment. Other prestigious institutions, including the Complutense University of Madrid, the Universitat Politècnica de València and the Hochschule für Angewandte Geisteswissenschaften Würzburg–Schweinfurt, are participating in collaboration with the Universitat de València.
