MultiplEye_data collection in Catalan at the University of Valencia

Welcome to MultiplEye_data collection in Catalan at the University of Valencia
MultiplEYE COST Action ( https://multipleye.eu/ ) aims to foster an interdisciplinary network of research groups working on collecting eye tracking data from reading in many languages supported by the European Union.
The group ERI Lectura/Atypical at the University of Valencia is contributing to the data collection work package by collecting data of catalan native speakers.
The collaboration was initiated by Ladislao Salmerón (UV) and Inma Fajardo (UV) (ERI Lectura/Atypical) after participating in the MultiplEye Action Meeting of Zurich (2024). The exhaustive work of the team of translators from English to Catalan, Ana Bautista (BCBL), Jordi Solé (University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia) and Xavier Minguez (University of Valencia), made possible that the data collection in Catalan started at the University of Valencia in 2025.
We are extremely grateful to the around 80 participants (so far!) who have attended to the data collection sessions at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech and Language Therapy of the University of Valencia (Spain).
Special thanks too to Anna Bondar (University of Zurich), leader of data collection in Valencia and collaborators Mariola Giménez, Victor Sanmartin (U. Valencia) and Daria Valiaieva (Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania). Read Anna's testimonial here.
