Welcome to the inaugural lecture of the Online Talks series organized by the Literature, Arts and Performance Research Group, at the Universitat de València (Spain).

In this video, you will be able to watch the online lecture given by Professor Mª Jesús Lorenzo Modia, from Universidade da Coruña, entitled "George Eliot in Spain: The Spanish Gypsy". We had the pleasure to welcome Prof. Lorenzo-Modia on the occasion of our 3rd In-house Research Seminar “Literary and Cultural Productions: Agents and Objects (1800s-2000s)”, that was held at the Universitat de València 18-19 November 2021.

As a hybrid event, we were able to combine online and in-person sessions,  with guest speakers such as Mª Jesús Lorenzo Modia (UDC), Eugenio Olivares (UJAEN) and playwright and director Don McCamphill.
