Objectives of the Committee

Oversee and coordinate the implementation of the open science policy across the entire university, in collaboration with the responsible services.
Propose improvement actions, regulatory adjustments and periodic updates to the policy document, in line with developments in the regulatory, scientific and technological context.
Define, update and review monitoring indicators, ensuring that they are specific, measurable and aligned with institutional objectives.
Annually assess the level of compliance with commitments through the analysis of objective data and the preparation of a public accountability report.
Act as a consultative forum and create spaces for active listening with the university community (academic staff, students, research centres).
Channel suggestions, proposals or needs related to open access, data management, responsible research assessment, citizen science or other dimensions of open science.
Promote the participation of the University of Valencia in national and international networks, consortia and initiatives on open science and good editorial practices.
Promote an institutional plan for continuous training in open science for all university communities
