Functions:

• Approve the open science policy as an institutional framework document. 
• Incorporate the principles of responsible research assessment (COARA) into internal regulations, call criteria, accreditations and research activity evaluation processes. 
• Establish institutional guidelines to integrate open science as a strategic axis of academic development
   

Funcions:

• Gestionar la infraestructura tècnica de l’ecosistema de ciència oberta, incloent-hi el repositori institucional RODERIC, la plataforma editorial de revistes en accés obert i el Portal de la Producció Científica, garantint al mateix temps estàndards editorials de qualitat i la normalització de metadades. 
• Assegurar el depòsit, preservació, visibilitat i interoperabilitat dels resultats d’investigació. 
• Assessorar en la gestió de dades d’investigació, llicències obertes, drets d’autor i estàndards. 
• Preservar i promoure la difusió de recursos educatius oberts (REA).
• Monitorar l’impacte i rendibilitat de la inversió dels costos per publicació en obert (APC) assumits en el marc dels acords transformatius signats amb les editorials. 
• Desenvolupar accions de formació i assessorament sobre publicació estratègica i depòsit en obert. 
• Garantir estàndards editorials de qualitat en les revistes editades per la UV.
   

Functions:

• Ensure quality editorial standards in books and book series.
• Manage the open access monograph publishing platform, while at the same time ensuring quality editorial standards and metadata normalisation.
• Provide guidance on research data management, open licences, copyright and FAIR standards for books.
• Develop training and advisory actions on strategic publishing and open access deposit for books.

• Ensure that internal funding calls include clauses that promote open access to research outputs and data. 
• Contribute to the maintenance, updating and use of the UV Scientific Output Portal

• Implementation, promotion and dissemination of the Open Science training plan.
• Advisory support and training on the development of open educational resources (OER).
   

Functions:

• Provide advice (lopd@uv.es) to ensure that, from project design to the open publication of results, regulatory compliance mechanisms are integrated, such as anonymisation, pseudonymisation, specific consent, records of processing activities, data protection impact assessment reports, access control, safeguard mechanisms for the exercise of data subject rights, or appropriate reuse procedures, enabling scientific transparency to be reconciled with compliance with applicable legislation, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Data Protection and Digital Rights Guarantee Act (LOPD-GDD).

Functions:

• Promote scientific ethics and quality in academic publishing, especially in the selection of journals or publishing platforms.
• Be aware of and apply the requirements of national and international funding agencies regarding open access, data management and responsible dissemination.
• Deposit the permitted version of publications (submitted, accepted or published) in the institutional repository RODERIC, within the time limits established by current legislation.
• Advance the production of open academic and scientific resources for teaching, research or dissemination purposes.
• Align professional activity with the principles of open science, incorporating good practices in research planning, publishing, collaboration and the training of new researchers.
