Proyecto 101176322-UEAFRICA
SRIC_UE_UEAFRICA-101176322-ERASMUS-JMO-2024
The aim of this module is to have an impact on the priority of promoting European values and interests from an educational, academic and social perspective. In particular, the impact of the module falls specifically on the need to deepen the knowledge and dissemination of EU-Africa relations, especially given the EU's progressive loss of influence on the continent to the detriment of new actors such as China and Russia. Precisely, among the four priorities of the EU's Strategic Agenda, the fourth one highlights the ‘promotion of EU interests and values in the world’, which stresses the importance of building a solid foreign policy by promoting ‘a global framework of partnership with Africa’.
The EUAFRICA module is divided into three thematic areas of analysis:
1. Economic Partnership, Development and Cooperation Agreements, including in this section the involvement of European companies in the continent.
2. Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) and the fight against terrorism.
3. Migration policy (including climate displacement) and human rights.
