The TeLL-ME group is organising the MultiEDU International Conference for December 2026.

The call for papers for MultiEDU: 1st International Conference on Multilingual and Cross-disciplinary Education is now open. This hybrid conference will take place on 10 and 11 December, with an in-person venue at the University of Valencia and online participation via Zoom.
The conference is part of the research project English as a vehicular language for multidisciplinary teaching in the Valencian Community (EVELMUT) (UV-INV-AE25-4227375), funded by the Universitat de València, and is set up as a space for academic debate focused on research and the transfer of knowledge in multilingual and interdisciplinary education.
The programme includes plenary lectures by international speakers, such as Martine Derivry-Plard (Maison des Sciences Humaines de Bordeaux) from the field of bilingual teaching and international certification, Lee Ann Bussolari (Bilingual Educator, MIE Expert), as well as David Bradshaw (Cambridge University Press & Assessment).
The scientific objectives of the conference focus on teaching practices in CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) contexts, EMI (English-Medium Instruction) and ESP (English for Specific Purposes), the exploration of teachers' training needs, the integration of emerging technologies, and the consolidation of collaborative networks between universities, educational centres and institutions.
Contributions may be presented as oral presentations (20+10 minutes) or posters.
The deadline for submitting abstracts, of between 250 and 300 words, remains open until 31 August 2026. Notification of acceptance is scheduled for 10 October 2026. The conference also provides mechanisms for certification and recognition of teacher training in collaboration with the CEFIRE for Languages and Internationalisation.
