Owners of Teams groups can generate a link to these groups in such a way that the link is published on the subject site in the Virtual Classroom and the students themselves are automatically added to the group in Teams when they click on the link.
Here are the steps to generate the link:
If you are a group owner, go to the group name and click on more options > get the link to the team:
We will select Copy, so we will have the link we are looking for in the clipboard.
Now we only need to Paste (Control+V) the link in the desired place in the virtual classroom. Once this is done, users who wish to join the group will only have to access the link.
Note: Currently, guests cannot join a group via a link or code.
