In 1995 the “0.7 Una Nau de Solidaritat program” was created, through which the University of Valencia decided to allocate 0.7% of their budget to development cooperation initiatives.
Official development assistance is the financial funds that developing countries receive in order to boost their growth and economic well-being. These funds come from international organizations, which in turn receive from developed countries.
The University of Valencia has contributed in recent years to Official Development Aid. It should be noted that the contribution made in 2020 was diminished by the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic.
