- What is it?
The Universitat de València announces a call for applications to participate in the Doctoral Cotutelle Programme with Macquarie University (Australia). This initiative promotes the training of researchers in international environments of excellence and strengthens scientific cooperation between both institutions.
- Objective
To select a doctoral thesis proposal and an outstanding PhD candidate to carry out research under a cotutelle agreement between Universitat de València and Macquarie University.
- Funding provided by Macquarie University
Submission via the electronic office ENTREU
- Tuition fee waiver at Macquarie University
- Financial support: up to AUD 39,700 for accommodation, living expenses, and health insurance
- Travel grant: up to AUD 4,000 for travel from Valencia to Sydney

Academic and research staff at Universitat de València supervising doctoral theses
Must endorse a PhD candidate to carry out the thesis under a cotutelle agreement

Joint doctoral thesis project between Universitat de València and Macquarie University
C1 level of English, in accordance with the criteria required by Macquarie University
- Selection criteria
Joint thesis project UV–Macquarie (up to 40 points)
Scientific relevance and alignment with institutional strategies (up to 30 points)
Predoctoral contract or equivalent (up to 30 points)
- Commitments
The UV academic supervisor commits to co-supervising the thesis with a Macquarie researcher
The selected PhD candidate will process the cotutelle agreement through the Doctoral School
