On October 7, 2019, Mar Beltrán Silva, a member of the secretariat of the Department of History of the University of Valencia since 2005, has died. On October 19, 2019, Dr. Inocencio Vicente Pérez Guillén, retired professor of the Department of Art History of the University of Valencia, died. He had retired as University Holder in 2009. He was a specialist of recognized prestige in the research on ceramic painting and Valencian tiles from different periods. His research activity remained active as evidenced by the publication last July 2019 of his latest book published by the Servei de Publicacions of the University of Valencia: “Azulejerías del Hospital de Pobres Sacerdotes de Valencia. Programas emblemáticos de concordia entre la América virreinal y España”.
