Through teachers and co-ordinators of the four courses in History of Art degree, each academic year a number of complementary activities are organized: visits to museums and cities, specialized seminars, special conferences, documentary screenings, practical skills workshops, writing, text analysis, library, etc. Through a grant from the Departament d'Historia de l'Art or the Facultat de Geografia i Història of the Universitat de València, is to improve the learning experience of our students.

- Seminar "Bonifacio Ferrer and his time" April 19-20, 2018.
The Department of History of Art of the Universitat de València and the Cultural Association Cartuja de Valldecrist organize a seminar on the 19th and 20th of April on the figure of Bonifacio Ferrer to commemorate the VI Centenary of his death. The Seminar has the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport, the City Council of Altura, the Bishopric of Segorbe-Castellón, the Institute of Culture of Alto Palancia (ICAP), the Valencian Academy of Language, and the prestigious collection on Carthusian studies Analecta Cartusiana (Universität Salzburg). It is directed and coordinated by Albert Ferrer Orts (professor of the Universitat de València) and Josep Marí Gómez (president of the Cultural Association Cartuja de Valldecrist). On Thursday 19 will be held in the Hall of Degrees of the Faculty of Geography and History (Universitat de València), and on Friday 20 in the Hall of Events of the City of Altura, the Charterhouse of Valldecrist and the Cathedral Museum of Segorbe. - Cultural Journey to Burgos (April 12-13)
On April 12 and 13, the students of the subject "History of Gothic Art", 2nd year of the Degree in History of Art of the University of Valencia, made a cultural journey to Burgos organized by professors Amadeo Serra, Albert Ferrer and Rubén Gregori. They visited the Monastery of Las Huelgas, the Cathedral and the Cartuja de Miraflores, three important spaces for their own history and architectural projection, and also for the key pieces, such as tombs, paintings or manuscripts, which are kept inside.
