The Department of Business Management at the University of Valencia approves a statement in support of the demonstrations and demands of the non-university teaching staff of the Valencian Community.

From the Department of Business Management “Juan José Renau Piqueras” at the University of Valencia, we wish to express our firm support for the mobilizations and demands of teachers in non-university public education in the Valencian Community. We consider public education to be a fundamental pillar for social progress, cohesion, and equal opportunities. In this regard, the work of teachers is essential and deserves recognition, respect, and the appropriate resources to be carried out with guarantees of quality.We share the concerns of the teaching community regarding current working conditions and the state of the education system, and we support their main demands, among which the following stand out:Improving student–teacher ratios to ensure more personalized and inclusive educational attention.Increasing investment in public education and providing sufficient material and human resources. Stabilizing teaching staff and reducing temporary employment.Improving teachers’ working conditions, including reducing bureaucratic workload.Recognizing the role of teachers as key agents in building a fairer, more critical, and better-prepared society.We reiterate that strong, high-quality public education is only possible with a valued teaching workforce working under достой conditions. Therefore, we urge the relevant authorities to listen to the sector’s demands and to open genuine channels of dialogue in order to find effective solutions.
