[Francisco Balbastre-Benavent is an associate professor in the Department of Business Administration of the University of Valencia. He has been a visiting researcher at national and international research centers, and a guest speaker at Spanish and foreign universities.

His teaching and research specialization focuses on the study of Quality Management (basically, ISO 9001 systems, Excellence Models and Supply Chain Quality Management), Organizational Learning, Knowledge Management, High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) and Innovative Behavior, and the application of Qualitative Research Methodologies.

He has been a principal investigator in competitive research projects (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Department of Education of the Generalitat Valenciana) and has published in prestigious journals in his area of ​​interest such as European Management Journal, R & D Management, Service Industries Journal, Total Quality Management & Business Excellence, Management Research, Quality Management Journal or International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management.

He has been an accredited assessor of the EFQM Excellence Model and has participated in many external assessments both at national and European level. He has developed numerous consulting projects on issues related to the implementation of quality systems, the application of the EFQM Excellence Model and the development of strategic plans. He has been part of different quality committees within the UV and has been Head of Quality at the Faculty of Economics of the UV. Àngels Dasí is Associate Professor at the Department of Business Management of the University of Valencia (Spain). Her research and teaching interests are focused on the international strategy of firms, both regarding the strategic decisions reltated to the internationalization proces as well as  the management of the multinational company and the relationships between parent companies and subsidiaries. Additionally, she is interested in the management of knowledge flows within MNCs and the coordination mechanisms. Prf. Dasí has been visitng scholar in several universities as the Copenhagen Business School (DInamarca), Bocconi University (Italy) and the Lyon School of Management (France). She has published articles in  journals such as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, Technovation, International Business Review, Management International Review, Advances in International Management. Regarding teaching publications, she has co-authored several manuals of Business Management and International Business.

Anabel Fernández holds a degree in Business Administration and Management, a Master's in Strategic Management, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Valencia, where she received extraordinary postgraduate and doctoral awards. In her career, she has worked in the investment department of a financial institution, as a local development agent in the public sector, and as a research assistant in the Superior Council of Scientific Research (CSIC) in Spain.

Since 2010, she works at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia where she teaches subjects related to Strategic Management and Innovation Management. She has been a visiting researcher at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and at the University of Bordeaux. She was co-chair of the interest group on Strategic Management at the European Academy of Management (EURAM) conference and now she is a member of the board of this association. She is currently co-chair of the Master in Human Resources Management of the University of Valencia and the coordinator of professional careers for students at UVocupació from the University of Valencia. Her interest in research focuses on Organizational Learning, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Dynamic Capabilities from a Strategic perspective. She has published on these topics in journals such as Long Range Planning, Technovation, Industrial Marketing Management, and International Business Review, among others.

Melanie Grueso Gala is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Management at the University of Valencia (UV). She has a degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Business Strategy from the UV. She has done a research stay at the University of Vienna under the supervision of Prof. Sabine Einwiller. She has a PhD in Business Management, and her research interests are Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability. She previously enjoyed a collaboration scholarship, and FPU contract and she worked as an assistant at the Business and Humanism Chair (UV). She is part of the GRECO research group (lead investigator:César Camisón Zornoza).

Javier Ortega is an associate professor in the Department of Business Management at the University of Valencia and researcher at INN4ALL <https://www.uv.es/inn4all/>, Innovation, Science and Society Research Group. He has previously worked in advanced service companies (consulting, banking and nautical), as well as in research institutions (during his pre- and post-doctoral studies). His research interests are about the inclusion of the environmental dimension in companies' strategies (eco-innovation). In addition, he has studied university-industry relationships and cooperation between agents of the innovation system in various contexts, participating in regional, national and European projects. The results of his research have been published in scientific journals such as Scientometrics, Journal of Entrepreneurship, Management and Innovation, International Journal of Technology Management and Sustainable Development and Arbor, among others. He has conducted several stays at the University of Tampere (in 2009 and 2014), with which he often collaborates, specifically with researchers from the School of Management.

José Pla-Barber is a doctor in Economics with an extraordinary doctorate award and European certificate, Full Professor of Management at the University of Valencia and associate researcher at the “John Dunning Center” of the University of Reading (U.K).

In the international arena, he has been vice-chair of the European International Business Academy (2012-2018) and chair of the Academy of International Business Western Europe Chapter (2010-2018). Since 2019 he is a Fellow of the European International Business Academy. Manuel Quilez: Combines his work as a consultant in national and multinational companies with the activity as Professor of the Department of Business Management of the UV for more than 15 years.

Domingo Ribeiro-Soriano is a Professor of Business Administration at the Universitat de València, Spain. He is also the co-director of the “Entrepreneurship: from student to entrepreneur” Chair. As a researcher, he has published more than 140 papers in SSCI/SCI-ranked journals. Throughout his career, he has edited and contributed to books, journals, and conferences and has delivered keynote speeches at international conferences. He has also led several EU-funded projects, and contracts with private companies. Before starting his career in academia, he worked as a consultant at EY (formerly Ernst & Young).
 

Luz Sánchez-Peinado is associate professor of business organization at the University of Valencia. She has been member of the research team in 8 competitive projects. Her research has been published in international peer reviewed journals such as British Journal of Management, Industrial Marketing Management, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, Business Research Quarterly, or Journal of International Entrepreneurship, among others. 

She has published several book chapters in national and international scientific editorials (Nova Science Publishers, Routledge, Universitat de València, Editions EMS…) and  research articles.

Her research interests focus on the interface between the characteristics and processes of Top Management Teams and Business and Corporate Strategies in SMEs, specifically with the diversification strategies.

I am Associate Prof. at the University of Valencia, Faculty of Economics, holding a PhD in Management and Strategy (with extraordinary doctorate award in Economics). My areas of specialization are International Business, Innovation and Organizational Learning. I teach these topics in Spain and Latin America at undergraduate, master and doctorate level, as well as courses on research methodology. I have supervised 10 doctoral dissertations.

My research interests focus on analysing the organization of the international company (global strategy and inter-regional expansion, global value chains, HQ-subsidiary relationships, innovation and organisational learning) both in MNCs and SMEs. On these topics I have published a number of papers in well-known journals in the field of management. I am currently Senior Editor for the European Journal of International Management, Associate Editor in Business Research Quarterly and consulting editor in the International Journal of Management Reviews. I am also member of the board (Spanish representative) at the European International Business Academy (EIBA).

As a member of the research group Inglobest I have lead and participated in research projects from public funding programmes, as well as many applied projects aiming to promote firms’ international competitiveness with relevant public institutions such as Fundación BBVA, Chamber of Commerce, IVACE, Consejo Intertextil Español o ATEVAL.

I have been co-director of the Master in Business Strategy (Master en Estrategia de Empresa) of the University of Valencia, 2018-2022. Formerly I held positions to promote the internationalization of the Faculty of Economics in my university (2012-2016) such as the coordination of international dual degrees for the Degree in International Business and the movility coordination for the degree in Business Administration.
