On June 25th, the work on the new SCSIE greenhouse was received. It is located in the business area of the Universitat de València Science Park, on the Burjassot-Paterna Campus, and has been financed mainly by FEDER-Generalitat Valenciana funds, within the framework of the IDIFEDER 2018-2020 project, whose request was led by the researchers Juan Segura and Pedro Carrasco.
The building has a surface area of 1,000 m² and is distributed over two floors:

The main one, located on the first floor, and where the cultivation rooms are located (6 NCB1 and 2 NCB2 cultivation cabins), a service area (laboratory, office, technical room, washing room, and warehouse).
- Auxiliary floor located in the basement that will allow to carry out complementary works as well as to house a preparation room, product warehouse, liquid effluent treatment room and other equipment such as climatic chambers for cultivation (annual tender 2020) and fertirrigation equipment.
The new greenhouse is expected to be operational by the end of this year.
