Description
- Measures systolic, diastolic and mean arterial blood pressure, as well as heart rate, tail blood volume and blood flow.
- Capable of measuring diastolic blood pressure, not only by calculation.
- For mice and rats as small as 8 grams and as large as 950 grams.
- Able to measure dark-skinned mice (C57BL/6) without difficulty.
- Able to measure the animal awake or anaesthetised with accuracy, consistency and reliability.
- MRI compatible: Can measure anaesthetised animals in a radiological environment.
Practical implementation
- Obtaining blood pressure data in the rodents that are part of the experimental, without the need for them to be subjected to anaesthesia or invasive procedures such as cannulation of arteries.
