Professor of Civil Law at the University of Valencia. She has been awarded several prizes: Prize for legal studies of the Real Academia Valenciana de Jurisprudencia y Legislación (2020), for the monograph entitled “Sistemas privados de información crediticia. Nueva regulación entre la protección de datos y el crédito responsable”, Tirant Lo Blanch, 2021. Savis en Dret Award (2012), granted by the Universitat de València and the Generalitat Valenciana, as coordinator and co-author of the work "El régimen económico matrimonial de la Comunidad Valenciana", Tecnos, 2010. Award for Teaching Excellence, from the Social Council of the University of Valencia and the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana (2016). She is a member, as a jurist of recognised prestige, of the Advisory Commission on Valencian Civil Law of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV Núm. 8397, de 4/10/2018). She is author of the books: ¿Una habitación propia? Arrendamiento y propiedad en la ley por el derecho a la vivienda (Marcial Pons, Madrid, 2024). Sistemas privados de información crediticia. Nueva regulación entre la protección de datos y el crédito responsable (Tirant Lo Blanch, Valencia, 2021). He has also written more than 100 articles and contributions to collective books in prestigious journals and publishing houses on subjects related to civil law (credit information systems, real estate credit, housing, insurance contracts, data protection, matrimonial property law, valencian civil law, leases, agrarian law, property, inheritance, mediation, etc.). His main lines of research include those related to the economic regime of marriage, housing, credit guarantees, data protection, Valencian civil law and agricultural law. Throughout her career as a researcher, she has taken part in numerous R&D projects funded by the Ministry of Education and the Generalitat Valenciana on property law, banking contracts, legal persons, Valencian and European private law, insurance contracts and corporate social responsibility. Currently, she is Director of the UV Registered Research Group "Wellfare, Insurance and Pensions" (WIP) -GIUV2017-399-. She participates in the Editorial Board and as an external evaluator of several legal journals. She has been a post-doctoral researcher at the following universities: King's College (London); University of London. Institute of Advanced Legal Studies; Università degli Studi di Firenze; Università "La Sapienza" (Rome); Universidad Autónoma de Santiago de Chile. Since the beginning of her activity she has been actively involved in educational innovation tasks, directing teaching innovation projects continuously since the 2012-2013 academic year. She is currently Director of the UV's Registered Consolidated Teaching Innovation Group GCID23_2577597 (Legal manuals and teaching materials 3.0). She has also collaborated as coordinator and author in numerous teaching publications, organising and directing educational innovation conferences, and in coordination and management positions in the European Higher Education Area. He has taught training courses for the specialization of judges and magistrates, civil administration officials, insurance mediators and lawyers. Consultant for the UOC (Open University of Catalonia) and guest lecturer in the doctoral program of the Autonomous University of Chile. In the field of management, she has been Vice-Dean for Quality, Training, Culture and Social Projection of the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia, from March 2018 to the present, and an elected member of the Board of the Faculty of Law, representing the Permanent Teaching Staff, since 2014. Previously, she was Secretary of the Master's Degree in Law Practice UVEG-ICAV, member of the CCA of the Master's Degree in Mediation, Arbitration and Conflict Management in Private Law and Secretary of the Department of Civil Law, among other positions. She is currently Permanent Labor Professor of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the Universitat de València and Collaborating Professor of Civil Law at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. In the field of management, is from 2021 Vice-Dean of Economics, Analysis, Planning and Campus and President of the Equality Commission of the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia since 2021, and member of the Senate of the University of Valencia since 2022. Awarded in the I Edition CERMI Awards. Category 3 Institutional: Impact of the UN Convention on Persons with Disabilities in 2019. She is co-director of the postgraduate course, together with Jorge Cardona i Llorens, "Rights of Children and Adolescents: Contexts of application and rights approach" (4th edition). She has several postgraduate degrees and experience in research contracts, as well as a long teaching career at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, both in Spain, such as the Master of Law (Practice in Family and Inheritance Law) or the Master of Constitutional Law (Constitutional typologies of property law and the social function of property) or the Diploma of Expert in Childhood and Adolescence mentioned above; and internationally in the Master of Constitutional Law at the Autonomous University of Honduras (Constitutional typologies of property law and social function of property). She has a recognized five-year degree and is accredited by the Docentia program with the highest qualification. She has also been Professor of Civil Law at CEU-SAN PABLO (1999-2002) and Associate Professor of Civil Law at Universitat de València (2006-2015). She has also been a member of the teaching innovation projects: Mind the Gap: towards a teaching of Law with a gender perspective (Gender4Law) 2021-22 and Promotion of the transversality of human rights in the UV Law degree (2022-23, 2023-24). In the field of research, she is a member of the R&D Project IN_JUSTICE "Times and spaces of an inclusive justice. Rights for a resilient society facing new challenges", PID2021-126552OB-I00 (2022-2025). She is part of two research groups: Law, rights and elderly people (DyPM- GIUV2023-578) and Welfare, Insurance and Pensions (WIP- GIUV2017-399). She participates as an external evaluator of doctrinal articles for Spanish and foreign legal journals. Her lines of research focus on personal law, especially childhood and elderly people, and family and property law, in which she has published numerous articles and made several collaborations for teaching manuals, collective books, journals and publishers of recognized prestige. She has had experience in the professional field working as a practicing lawyer, specializing in family law (2004-2015); or as Manager of the CEPS Foundation (2002-2013). She has held public representation tasks at the political level as a deputy in the IX legislature of the Valencian Parliament (2015-2019) during which she held the position of parliamentary spokesperson attached to the Trustee of the parliamentary group Podem. She has carried out different research stays in international centers of reference in legal matters such as La Sapienza (Rome) or Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). |
