Next Thursday, December 19 will be held, as part of the Dissemination Conference scheduled under the ANTROPOCEN@ project, the Conference 'The pollution of the Albufera Natural Park from a gender perspective', organized by the Research Group on Food and Environmental Security of the University of Valencia (SAMA-UV), the Department of Environmental Quality and Soils of the Center for Research on Desertification-CIDE (CSIC-UVEG-GV) and the Department of Ecology and Microbiology of the University of Valencia.
The aim of the conference is to present advanced proposals to address the study of environmental pollutants from a gender perspective. The conference will be attended by Amparo Mañes Barbé, Director of the Unitat d'Igualtat de la Universitat de València, who will present the III Equality Plan of the University of Valencia (2019-2022). The UV researchers Dyana Vitale and Yolanda Picó, and the CSIC researcher Vicente Andreu, and representatives of the Tyrius El Palmar Association will intervene. The conference will conclude with a round table entitled 'The contributions of the gender perspective to the study of pollution'.
The conference is aimed at people interested in how to incorporate the gender perspective in environmental issues, pollutants present, etc., will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Valencia. Av. Vicent Andrés Estellés S/N in Burjassot (Valencia).
