o In this session, invited students will present a research proposal and Dr. Heyden will provide feedback for its improvement or implementation.
Mariano Heyden, known as "Pitosh" is Professor of Strategy and International Business in the Department of Management at the Monash Business School. He obtained his PhD in management (specialising in strategy) in 2012 from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (Rotterdam, Netherlands). Prior to joining Monash he held positions in the International Business and Strategy Group at the Newcastle Business School. His research interests are at the intersection of strategic leadership (focusing on characteristics of decision-makers across the hierarchy), corporate governance (focusing on external governance, boards of directors, and corporate social responsibility), and organisational adaptation (focusing on renewal, innovation, and corporate entrepreneurship).
