TRAINING ACTIVITIES OF THE DOCTORAL PROGRAMME IN MEDICINE:
The doctoral programmes will include aspects of research training that don’t require its organisation in ECTS and they comprise both cross-disciplinary and specific training in the area of each programme, if the specific activity of the doctoral student is research.
The training activities done by the doctoral student are registered in the customised activities document of the doctoral student.
The different activities of cross-disciplinary and specific activities of the doctoral programme in medicine constitute a coherent and feasible proposal for contributing to the acquisition of the inherent competencies of the doctoral studies by the doctoral student.
Cross-disciplinary activities:
Doctoral students should study the following cross-disciplinary activities:
1. Writing of scientific articles (Code 50000).
2.The open movement in science and research (Code 50019).
3. Selection, implementation and interpretation of basic statistical techniques in research (Code 50460).
Specific activities:
Doctoral students must take the following specific training activities:
- Preparation of an article for its publication in a scientific journal (Code 50054).
- Doctoral Studies training sessions of the Faculty of Medicine:Human Ethics Committee, Animal Experimentation, Clinical Trial, Bibliography and Methodology of Research, Administrative Guidance (Code 50174).
- Attendance and Participation in a Scientific Conference of the specialisation (Code 50175).
