For having access to the Doctoral Programme during the research period it should be required to have an official certificate of a University Master’s degree. Access is guaranteed for those students who have completed the Master’s degree in Basic and Applied Neurosciences at the UV or other similar master’s issued by an institution of higher education within the European Higher Education Area.

Also, those holding a certificate obtained in accordance with education systems foreign to the European Higher Education Area can have access, with no need of accreditation, but after verification that the degree certifies a level of education equivalent to the corresponding Spanish Master’s degrees and empowers in the issuing country for accessing to doctoral studies. Accessing by this means it does not imply, in any case, the accreditation of the previous degree obtained by the applicant or the accreditation for other purposes than undertaking doctoral studies.

Furthermore, those who meet any of the following conditions may also have access to the research period:

  • To have passed 60 credits in one or more University Master’s Degrees.
  • To hold a Diploma of Advances Studies, obtained in accordance with the Royal Decree 778/1998, of 30 Abril, or having reached the research competence governed by the Royal Decree 185/1985, of 23 January.
  • To hold an undergraduate degree, in accordance with the rules of Community law, of at least 300 credits.
