Doctoral Programme in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

Basic competences:

  1. Systematic understanding of a field of study and mastery of research skills and methods related to that field.

Personal capacities and skills:

  1. Dealing with contexts in which there is little specific information.
  2. Find the key questions that need to be answered to solve a complex problem.
  3. Design, create, develop and undertake novel and innovative projects in their field of knowledge.
  4. Work both in a team and autonomously in an international or multidisciplinary context.
  5. Integrate knowledge, deal with complexity and make judgements with limited information.
  6. Intellectual critique and defence of solutions.

Other competences:

  1. Ability to conceive and write original scientific articles in their area of specialisation in Molecular Nanoscience.
  2. Ability to interact actively with the main groups and centres working in Europe on the molecular aspects of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
