The UV and Baleària have singed the University-Company Chair Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience

The activities of the chair are managed by the Intelligent Data Analysis Laboratory (IDAL, http://idal.uv.es), which is affiliated to the Department of Electronic Engineering of the ETSE-UV. The director of IDAL is Emilio Soria Olivas, who is a professor of the affiliated UV department. This chair has three main objectives: education in this field, dissemination of the last discoveries and their applicability in different areas of knowledge.  To accomplish these goals, Baleària and the University are developing training courses, research projects and competitions based on data science in order to disseminate artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.

The company will propose projects to the ETSE-UV students of Data Science that will be developed in their corresponding bachelor’s or master’s degree final project so that the relationship between the university and the company will be closer.
