The Language Centre UV has opened the period of inscription to enrol in the PACLE-CertAcles of English, French and German, as well as in the intensive courses of preparation for the exams.

The registration period to the exams will remain open until 10 September. 

Call for CertAcles September 2025

• Languages: English
• Levels: B1, B2 and C1
• Exam dates: 18, 19, and 20 September

Call for PACLE September 2025

• Languages: French and German
• Level: B2
• Exam dates: 20 September

Courses of preparation for the CertAcles certification in English:

1. August intensive

• Course dates: From 1 to 28 August
• Registration: Until 8 August

2. September intensive

• Course dates: From 1 to 16 September.
• Registration: Until 2 September

CertAcles is the language proficiency certification model developed by the Association of Language Centres in Higher Education (ACLES), which is made up of more than 60 language learning centres at the university level.

These certificates have a validation for all purposes inside the Universitat de València. Candidates who pass any of these tests will be able to get their language skills accredited for Bachelor's, postgraduate and Master's degrees or mobility programmes. University staff will be able to get their language skills accredited for internal promotions or public examinations in the UV.

Furthermore, these certificates are accepted by Valencian Government as certificate of linguistic and communicative qualification in foreign languages.  

At the same time, the certificates are officially recognised by the Spanish universities according to the agreement reached on 8 September, 2011 by the Conferencia de Rectores de Universidades Españolas (CRUE).

For their part, the Foreign Language Proficiency Accreditation Tests of the Universitat de València (PACLE) has a validation to all effects inside the Universitat de València. Candidates who pass any of these tests will be able to get their language skills accredited for Bachelor's, postgraduate and Master's degrees or mobility programmes. University staff will be able to get their language skills accredited for internal promotions or public examinations in the UV.
