The researcher Dr. Eng. Guillermo Quijano, from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), will give the presentation “De la purificación de biogás al desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías para mitigar emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero” invited to the Research Group in Environmental Engineering (GI2AM) within the framework of the subprogram «Atracció de Talent» from the Vicerectorat d’Investigació of theUniversitat de València. The presentation will take place next July 5 at 11:00 in the Hall of Degrees Joan Pelechano at Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyería from the Universitat de València.
Guillermo Quijano is a Senior Researcher at the Instituto de Ingeniería de la UNAM. His research focuses on the development of processes for the treatment and valorization of gaseous effluents, as well as their coupling with wastewater treatment. He has published 82 JCR articles, 8 book chapters and is the editor of the book "Advances and applications of partitioning bioreactors" by Elsevier. His works have received more than 2500 citations, corresponding to an h-index of 31. He is subject Editor of Energy, Ecology & Environment (Springer) and member of 5 editorial committees of journals JCR. He has been a visiting professor at the Universitat de València (Spain), École des Mines d'Alès (France), Universidad de Talca (Chile) y Universidad de Cuenca (Ecuador).
