
The 8th Website Designing Contest for students of ESO, Bachillerato and Vocational Training Courses was conducted held next Friday 9 May 2014.
The contest is part of the actions to approach secondary education students to the teachings and activities developed by the University of Valencia in the field of Engineering, and it is organised by the School of Engineering (ETSE-UV) together with the Delegate for University Incorporation.
Over 150 students of the Valencian Community have participated on it and it counts with the collaboration of the Association of Computer Science Professors of the Valencian Community (APICV) and the PEARSON GROUP.
The presentation of the participating teams and vote casting for the Audience Award started at 17:30 in the Saló de Graus “Joan Pelechano” in the ETSE-UV.
The award ceremony began at 18:00 in the Saló. It will be directed by the Vice-Principal for Training Policies and Educational Quality, Ramón López, attended by the Delegate of the Principal for University Incorporation, the Delegate of the Principal for Academic Management Processes in the Digital University and the Director of ETSE-UV.
Professor Ignacio García, from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Valencia gave a lecture entitled “Simulació i animació gràfica: Enginyeria Aplicada” (“Simulation and graphic animation: Applied engineering”).
