Cypress Semiconductor Seminar ETSE-UV

Next Monday, March 5 at 11:30, at 0.2.4 ETSE-UV's Room, Patrick Kane, director of the University relations with Cypress USA (http://www.cypress.com/?id=231) and Cypress España engineer José Manuel Gil will offer a technical seminar on PSoC1, PSoC3 and PSoC5 devices at the UV's School of Engineering ETSE UV.

The only devices that incorporate 8 or 32 bits microprocessors (ARMCortex-M3), a programmable high precission analogic part (ADCs de 20 bits...), configurable digital part (DMAs, FIFOs, FSMs, PLDs…) and the capacity to freely assign all pins.

They are devices present in iPads, portable glucose meters, etc. The developement is carried out in the free graphic environment PSoC Creator, which incorporates the corresponding Keil compiler. http://www.cypress.com/?id=2494.

The planned schedule is:


· Seminar Opening 

· Programmable Integrated Systems based on micros. Families PSoC1, PSoc3
and PSoC5. 

· PSoC3/5 - Differences between PSoC1. Advantages. Block diagrams.

· PSoC Creator - General introduction of the work enviroment. Ease of 
use. 

· Significant projects based on PSoC1/3/5. Practical demonstrations. 

· Question time.
