The School of Engineering of the University of Valencia (ETSE-UV) has carried out, for the fourth consecutive year, a set of workshops in which more than five hundred of students of ESO, "bachillerato" and vocational training will carri out lab practices adapted to their education level, having, in addition, the opportunity of getting to know the studies and premises of this School based in the Burjassot Campus of the University of Valencia.

This acticity is the results of the coordinated work of the ETSE-UV with ESO teachers with the objective of join forces in order to improve the teaching quality in the fields of computer sciences and technology and to motivate students towards experimental work and engineering.

In the workshops, that are conducted from 14 to 18 January and that have a great demand, students  participated in computer sciences and multimedia workshops, where carried out a web portal management workshop and a workshop of edition and publication of digital image and audio; or in industrial technology workshops, where chemical technology and industrial processes workshops was given, in which they maked bath gel or will get to know the operations of separation obtaining essential oils, as well as industrial electronics technology and telecommunications in which they will handle and programe microrobots, will practice with the instrumentation and measurement of diverse sensors, generated digital audio effects in real time or practiced with the acquisition and processing of biomedical signals.
