Open Data Conference, which takes place on last Tuesday of September at the School of Engineering of the Universitat de València, will explain the open data interchange it supposes for society. In it, both technological firms as well as public organisms, which will share their knowledge on data science, participate.

Data science is revolutionising many aspects of society. Open and shared data are resulting in great changes in business models, as well as in the way of understanding the government. In the Open Data Conference of 27 September at the ETSE-UV all these issues are explained and we deepen on the different perspectives in the field of study.

Open Data generate a cycle of richness and transparency that benefits society as never seen before. New development and management models appear by using this kind of data that has not stopped growing in volume and diversity during the last years. They are data related to people, societies, firms, public organisms, etc. and that are available to be used.

These data are related with technologies as Big Data, Internet of Things and Predictive Analytics, which are the most demanded profiles in the job portals. Advances are coming quickly and this conference is an occasion of pooling them with the main involved actors. In this conference where participate public organisms and technologic firms, there also are experiences to discover new paths to cross in data sciences.

Among others, participate the Autonomous Secretary for Transparency, Zulima Pérez Seguí; Pilar Campíns Falcó, Vice-Principal for Research of the Universitat de València; and Emilio Soria Olivas, Full University Professor of the Universitat and representation of Tinámica, Wolfram Alpha and GMV.
